About Dr. Gaede

Dr. Gaede graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1976 and went on to complete his internal medicine residency at UCSF-Fresno. In 1992 he completed a one-year fellowship in Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, becoming the only varicose vein doctor in Fresno, California with this type of training.

While at the Cleveland Clinic, he gained expertise in the treatment of varicose veins, circulation problems, and blood clots, and became familiar with advanced techniques using ultrasound and sclerotherapy. He now applies his expertise in techniques like radiofrequency ablation and laser vein removal at the VeinPros clinic in Fresno, California.

Publications

Dr. Gaede has written a chapter on venous ulcers in the book, Conn’s Current Therapy (2001 edition), and has been a principal investigator in several important international studies.
The studies have involved research into new blood thinners for blood clots, treatment of high cholesterol, and new medicines for high blood pressure.
